So...interesting observation...
I haven’t yet been able to play with the stuff I got a couple weeks ago. It’s all just been sitting in my room on a side desk. All the ink samples I got came in little plastic vials that have plastic screw caps. Most of them are fine, but at least one or two, in the various shifting that the box has gone through, have left dried ink spots in the vials! Even when shaken up a bit, they don’t dissolve. I can’t imagine what that would do to the insides of a pen. Yikes!

I've been promising to do this for a while now and keep forgetting...... Here is my meager little collection.
W. A. Sheaffer with bladder inkwell and F1 nib. Currently empty.
Pilot Metropolitan with fine nib. Currently loaded with pilot black ink cartridge. (No converter for it yet.)
Platinum #3776 with 14k gold extra fine nib. Converter currently has J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor 1670.

I like it. I've tried a few of the "shimmering" inks and they all seem to do well. They aren't something you want to leave in your pen for a long time though because they settle and form a sediment that can be hard to clean out.
The ones I've tried were from J. Herbin and Diamine. Both are really good inks and flow well. They also dry fairly quickly on paper which is a big selling point for me because I'm left handed and don't over or under hook when I write.

I just ordered the Singularity in Graphite with a .8 Stub nib. $7.99! Should be here Friday. After I try it out I might go back and grab a Fission if there are any left.
Mine should be here Friday also.
