I got my graphite Singularity with .6 stun nib today....pretty disappointed but hey, it was only $7. Spent about an hour cleaning up ink after the pen started leaking.
I’m still not sure if it was something I may have done wrong. I’m still new to the fountain pen world lol. I’m letting it soak in water and I’m going to try again this weekend. I’m thinking maybe the converter wasn’t on tight enough. That sucks. Maybe they will make it right.
If I remember correctly they aren’t seated tightly when they arrive.I’m still not sure if it was something I may have done wrong. I’m still new to the fountain pen world lol. Woo hoo! New fancy smancy Nickel pen ... and no ink.
Did you take the pen apart? A lot times there will be a cartridge inside the barrel.
I’m thinking this is the problem. If I remember correctly they aren’t seated tightly when they arrive.
It’s just dripping right out of the nib. Almost like you were slowly flushing the pen by pushing the piston through the cartridge. There isn't much to it, you just have to push it snuggly into the base of the section.
Can you tell where it's leaking from?
Post a pic if you can.

I'm using the converter it came with. I'll have to try again later tonight. It seemed like the converter was snug but after writing 2 sentences it started to just purge ink. If you held the pen vertically with the nib pointing down (same position as if you were writing) Ink would just slowly drip out of the nib without touching the paper.I don't think that could even happen if the cartridge isn't snug enough. Pressure is the only thing I know that causes that, sometimes due to changes in temperature. (I've had it happen walking outside in the cold and then going indoors for example.)
Sometimes there can be an air bubble in the ink itself. In any case taking the cart off and getting any air out could help.
