Pens, inks and related.....

@Dave in KY you went with a stub, interesting. I've never used one, but understand they can be scratchy.

For ink, I think you can still find Parker Quink in stationary stores, it's a great ink to start with.

I actually use the colors I have, I like to color code a lot, so have a fair collection of inks. But don't by them nearly as often as soaps, they really do last forever, I think I still have my first bottle I bought in college somewhere.

No, I got the Fine nib. Link was the one @NurseDave posted but I selected the fine. Thanks for the ink recommendation.

These are my main work/thinking pens, Sailor Pro Gears, and Pro Gear Slims, mostly fine with one Medium.
They never leave the house.

These are my knock arounds, Sailor Lecoule pens are total tanks that never fail me, I even use them in the gym to log my workouts. There's also a Pelican M205, I mostly use it for taking meeting notes.

I may check it out, I just hate those sign up for a subscription and try to remember to cancel in time before costs kick in......
Just keep in mind that if you do, they only ship twice a month depending on your subscription sign-up/renewal day, either the first of the month or the 15th.

I canceled my subscription the day after I received my box. It was quick n easy.

Truphae.com, lowest level subscription box.
If the code still works it’s “INKMEISTER” during checkout.

@NurseDave (or anyone) have you tried the pens from the link Gunmetal Fission Fountain Pen

Would that be a good pen for a beginner? I think I’ll start with the extra fine nib(?) Can the various bits and parts be changed as needed?

Would that be a good setup for standard lower quality paper also? Then I just need ink? Thanks.
