Your Latest Fragrance Purchase

I’ve been holding off on the Beau de Jour because I have a nice dup from Oakcha - I love the scent - but from what I’ve read - the OG is really Davidoff Zino (and you can get it for under $25)

I agree - I want to get a vintage because that is the true scent that I would remember
Beau de Jour has a benzoin / amber dry down which is nice, but for me there are others in my collection that tick that box, and it feels a bit redundant. The other thing, again very personal taste only, is it feels a little artificial for the price point.

You, @GearNoir, and me need to start a YouTube fragrance channel- so then the houses will send us the goods for free 😀

Yes, I recall they have their higher end line and I liked all of those. Of course.

I dig YSL Y EdP; I have Spicebomb Infrared on my radar - can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
I tried YSL Y Le Parfum at Sephora and both my wife and I loved it. Unfortunately since it's so new and not at discounters I couldn't justify the purchase but can't wait to throw it on at home now that I have a proper sample.

Tried SB Infrared on my arm last time I was in Macy's and wrote down "Sweet and spicy, seems like a great holiday scent, get sample" so I think it'll be great to pair with my Stirling Christmas Eve soap and balm! Always curious to see if my impressions from a tester bottle at the store carry forward to an actual "real life" try on at home.
