Well if you haven't figured it out yet I truly am a fan of all things 007 and a lover of Jamaica and of course rum. So you can imagine the excitement at the fact ...that not only does the latest film take place in Jamaica where it all started....but now we have this little gem...
Inspired by a time-honored family recipe and his close ties to the world of James Bond, Chris Blackwell is releasing a special edition Jamaican rum. Blackwell, who is also the owner of Ian Fleming's former residence, is timing the launch to coincide with No Time To Die and the limited edition spirit is an aged, aromatic dark gold rum with unmistakable Jamaican character. The rum was even the official drink at Bond's house on the set of the new film, helping to cement this natural partnership.
I will be seeking this guy out when I can land a paw to one...

The Character...however, the author hated Martinis...so he drank a lovely little concoction of his own called "Old Man's Thing"...a rum punch...
You know @NurseDave ...you made me look and though Bond is linked with that legendary drink he has on two occasions (in the movies) had Rum. A Rum Collins in Thunderball and a Mount Guy Rum and Soda in Casino Royale....
