Exactly!! A "soapy leather" is what it's like to me. Wonderfully old-school and refined.

i was talking with my fragrance guy to see if there was any places local to get my nose on this house, but the only store that his it is like 30 miles away

I’m sure there’s a number of places, but I’ve used LuckyScent since they have physical shops, one being a couple hours south of me, and seemed reliable. They appear to have the entire lineup.

Apparently one on Beverly Blvd in Hollywood area and another on Alameda St in downtown area.
