To my nose, one of the best Vetiver led fragrance ever made. Classical yet it has a touch of modern perfumery with a velvety smooth licorice accord that just has to be experienced. Then of course throw in the Guerlain DNA or "Guerlainade" and one has near perfection in a bottle. The juice in the skinny tall bottles is quite good but, the original in this bottle has another level of masculine greatness to it that checks all the boxes for me. I'm on the hunt for a 2nd bottle. Not easy to come by. Totally worth the search and eating ramen with tuna for a month....
Spicy, peppery, with a touch of aromchemicals. I've felt it was time to look at some more modern houses, since I have a lot of more retro styled fragrances. Especially with summer coming on, and a burst of energy, looking for some scents that give a little more swagger. I sample the other purchases I made, but this was a blind buy, and a great going to a nice outdoor cafe type of scent. It reminded me of Creed Viking, with a Blu d'Chanel twist, this is full of energetic class, if I had a convertible Porsche, this would be the one to wear driving it with the top down.
Pierre Guillaume - Indochine
Lovely and very wearable amber, opening is like a rich cola. Ambers are similar to greens for me, in that I love them in principal, but many of them don't really agree with me, and I get sick of them after a few hours. Pierre has hit gold with this one for me, and it feels very wearable even outside of winter.
Pierre Guillaume - Coze
Coze was the house's first release, and arguably the best. It's a wonderful relaxed, modern take on spicy. The scent truly exemplifies classic Parisian nonchalance. Effortless classy and cool.
