I'm not going to say that it's the best Rye out there. And honestly, it's probably a tad expensive for what it is...but it is better than anything you can get in the $20-$80 dollar range. My choice would be Sazerac 18 year old...but can't find that stuff and when you do...yeah...It's several hundred dollars a bottle.

Well I must say I am quite impressed with this one. Neat it is a big rye but you get vanilla, caramel, cinnamon (lovely spice, not the candy heat), some chocolate on the finish. It is super tasty. Going to keep enjoying this one neat tonight. It is tasty and honestly a really nice rye.

Yesterday was a tough teen parenting night. 2 drams of Laphroaig Triple Wood followed by a dram of Laphroaig Quater Cask. That QC goes down better once the system is primed.
