Real drinks don't come with straws, Chad.
I hate paper straws!Stupid paper straws!
It's just a bit sweeter to me, but not the same kind of sweetness you get from the grain. I have tried a honey liqueur before called bearenjager or something like that. It tastes just like honey and alchohol.I've had the Wild Turkey and the Jim Beam honey(Which is much cheaper) for my wife and with the Honey ones I couldn't taste a difference. Buy the cheapest Honey Bourbon you can find especially if mixing. Not sure how JD compares to JB for price
Then we look forward to your reportAnyone tried the Jim Beam Vanilla? I like vanilla...
I've had JB's version of honey, but I can tell a distinct difference between the JD and WT honeys. I prefer WT American Honey hands down. To me it was smoother and had a more natural flavor (if that makes sense). I also drink it straight, so if you're mixing I'll agree that it won't make a difference and you should just buy the cheapest thing available. I follow that rule for all liquor.I've had the Wild Turkey and the Jim Beam honey(Which is much cheaper) for my wife and with the Honey ones I couldn't taste a difference. One things for sure. They're heavy on the honey. Cap was getting stiff to screw on and off because of it.I've had JB's version of honey, but I can tell a distinct difference between the JD and WT honeys. I prefer WT American Honey hands down. I'll have to ask my father-in-law if he's had that issue with his bottle. One things for sure. They're heavy on the honey. Cap was getting stiff to screw on and off because of it.
If he's anything like some of my relatives and finishes the bottle in one evening, it's not worth asking.I'll have to ask my father-in-law if he's had that issue with his bottle.
The 2 of us have been known to do this lol! But I know his bottle of American Honey has been around for a little while now.If he's anything like some of my relatives and finishes the bottle in one evening, it's not worth asking.

Still have over half a bottle of Larceny to slowly polish off. It’ll be a while before the next purchase, but I was considering it. Tin Cup is in the running for the next bit too. Then we look forward to your report
Better start adding another finger or two to each glass.....Still have over half a bottle of Larceny to slowly polish off.
