99% neat. I’ve added water a couple of times. Next time I try this one I should try it with a touch of water, but I guess I enjoy the adventure of high ABV

Well I would say proper gentleman...but liking high ABV works. I use water sparingly and the only one which I love water with is the Glenlivet Nadurra.

Was curious. I’m finding that I also tend to like neat as well. The flavors just seem more concentrated and rich.

It really does depend on the dram. When you get anything below 50 ABV you really have to be careful you don’t drown out your whiskey with too much water. I let the thing breath for awhile and see where it goes...but I also use an eyedropper to add water.

So to quite a few good people...a year in the cask, a minute in the glass. So 12 years old...12 mu utes in the glass. No age statement? Shoot for 15.

It’s a very tasty whiskey and packs a punch with an ABV of 61.7%. Although it is 198 PPM, the peat is far from overpowering. On the palate, I get a punch of fruity malt. The finish is long and wonderful, with notes of chocolate. Very interesting whiskey.

Noah’s Mill - brown sugar, rye and alcohol burn on the nose. Very hot, anise, rye taste. Add a touch of water and the flavor disappears and a bitter finish.

Whistle Pig 10 year - nose is floral, mint, sharp spices. Taste herbal, white pepper, grain. Whistle Pig has been on my want to try list for a long time. Glad I got a small bottle.
