Gotta experiment with various ways of intake, @NurseDave . Still have to try it with ginger ale and also as a hot toddy. That'll cover the bases for me.

Have you tried the QC before? It's my personal favorite standard expression from Laphroaig!
I have not this is the first one and it is extremely tasty. Big smoke and wood out the gate but in a little while it fades and you get vanilla creme, honey and oak and peat smoke.

I’ve been eyeing that for the last couple weeks. How is it compared to either the 12 or 17 double wood?
Actually I am not a big fan, drinking it to get rid of it honestly, it is the only Single Malt scotch I drink with Ice. To me it tastes Like 151 to much of a rum overtone. I have not tried the others.

Just some Beam Black with a single ice cube for our first night down in Florida.
Just an average night ?? Not drinking much huh?
About 10 ml of each. I’ve been enjoying sampling different flavor profiles lately instead of having a dram of a single whisky.
