I made another Vesper Martini last night and I have to say patience in allowing the glass you use to chill in the freezer sufficiently is critical to the end result. I left it there for quite a while. When it was time to pour the contents into the martini glass I could see the little ice flakes floating on the surface. I only needed one drink last night to give me a satisfying buzz. Not surprising since there are almost 4 ounces of vodka and gin in there. I'm done.
You ever see a peat bog up close? Never mind smelt one...practically medieval...they smoke it with peat from that...so maybe new car tires...but not to my beak...My wife says Laphroaig smells like new car tires. She’s not wrong.
So do have Kina Lillet? Cresta Blanca? What are you using as a substitute? Lillet Blanc? I am a 007 geek...I keep posting about this drink but I just find it to be incredible.
