Please raise a glass in honour of a wonderful malt - Port Charlotte 2007 CC:1 Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt.
Cask strength and full of flavour without being too antiseptic, it gave up its last nectar this evening after being sipped carefully over the last two years.
A great bottle. I hope to drink its like again.

I have 1/4 bottle of the French Oak left...tasty! Aren’t the Glencairn just great?! Mine is the Canadian version on steroids but a have a set of the wee ones too...
