It's fantastic. Floral, without smelling girly. It's a really sophisticated scent.
Picked up a few things from @LNHC
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the scent of Tashmere. Notes are Orange, Black Pepper, Oud, , Amber, Sandlwood, and Geranium. It's kind of in the wheelhouse as Vide Poche. But instead of Floral heavy, Tashmere is Deep, a little sweet, with some brightness and floral present...strong but not overpowering. I'll do a formal review of it later.
Got a sample shampoo bar some soap bags and a bar of unscented soap for the wife. Wanted to get Lisa's conditioner, but she was out.

I don't remember Brut smelling like this actually. Seems like it was a sweeter lighter kind of scent when I used it before. This smells a little mustier than I remember. Although... I last used it in highschool and I don't think @GearNoir was even around then, so I could be wrong on the scent.

That AV Musk is vile liquid though, you can just pour that one out...

Haven't tried the AV yet. Had it out last night, but showered too close to bed time. It is pretty strong in the bottle and it wouldn't have had any time to dry down, so I went with a little lighter scent. I remember I used to use Jovan Musk occasionally back in school too, but don't remember if I tried the AV Musk. But at $3, I didn't think it was too big of a risk, but I'm not expecting a whole lot for that price either.
That's actually how I feel about stuff that I can find at Walmart and the like. I'll risk a couple of bucks and let myself be surprised if the product is any good.
C'mon now.... it's good stuff!
Both are similar in notes..... but the AV version is MUCH sweeter.
