WHAT? I was P-O'd when Alter Carbon got cancelled. Honestly, I haven't got up to speed on the Blade Runner Stuff. I mean I watched the original. I was intrigued by the Black Lotus series, just never got around to it.Love the Blade Runner universe! I’d much prefer watching this to Altered Carbon.
I can‘t keep up with everything - I didn’t know there was a Blade Runner Universe - I knew there was a Marvel Universe, A DC Universe, but there is a BR Universe?Love the Blade Runner universe! I’d much prefer watching this to Altered Carbon.
Original movie, Black Lotus (Japanese - American anime series) & BR 2049I can‘t keep up with everything - I didn’t know there was a Blade Runner Universe - I knew there was a Marvel Universe, A DC Universe, but there is a BR Universe?
Which one is the best? My dad loved the original - with Harrison Ford - I have to admit - that I didn’t see any of themOriginal movie, Black Lotus (Japanese - American anime series) & BR 2049
I enjoyed the concept and most of the first season, but I felt the story became super convoluted and lackluster heading into the second.WHAT? I was P-O'd when Alter Carbon got cancelled. What Brian said, but I meant “universe” in more of a general way too…the conceptual life of the work - story, setting, lore, continuity, feel, etc. The way you might think of the LOTR “universe” without necessarily meaning the books or films…as a mostly realized concept.I can‘t keep up with everything - I didn’t know there was a Blade Runner Universe - I knew there was a Marvel Universe, A DC Universe, but there is a BR Universe?
The OG is iconic and still the best for sure. I have the Collector’s Edition. Very worth it IMO.Which one is the best? My dad loved the original - with Harrison Ford - I have to admit - that I didn’t see any of them
Keep watching it gets MUCHO MAS MEJOR!Watched the first episode of Halo on Paramount Plus last night. Not saying this show will win any Emmy Awards or anything. But it's a nice action series that you don't have to think a lot about.
The original is actually a good candidate for the book v. movie debate. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Dick) is a great book, but the movie is also iconic.Which one is the best? My dad loved the original - with Harrison Ford - I have to admit - that I didn’t see any of them
Well I say that the 80’s was the Golden Age of Movies and TV Shows….except for the clothes and hair styles…….but it still beats out the 1970’s and to some extent now - since the latest generations want to bring those back……If I see bell bottoms - I think that it will be the last straw.
You're right. Hit the peak at Alf and that was that.Well I say that the 80’s was the Golden Age of Movies and TV Shows….except for the clothes and hair styles…….but it still beats out the 1970’s and to some extent now - since the latest generations want to bring those back……If I see bell bottoms - I think that it will be the last straw.
