It is a Swiss quartz movement (Ronda 763), but there is nothing wrong with that. The bracelet is composed of solid links with what appears to be solid end links.

I have seen that one and think it is really cool. I do like the 1970's "retro sci-fi" look that it has. I am not sure if that is one I would own, but it is very cool.
