Trials of a woodpusher: Adventures in chess, backyard gardening, and maybe whisker chopping

My inbox this morning contained the pairing for my section of the 44th ICCF World Championship semi-finals. There are no giants in my section, but 1 GM and 6 SIMs and it looks to be a section where everyone should be competitive. I have played only two of these chaps before (both draws) and will need to score +3 to gain a SIM norm (just below the GM title), as I should already have my IM title before this year is out.

Should be an interesting 2 years.

We moved the flowers from the back yard to the front a few years ago, using the "full sun" space for important stuff!

Yup, lining up some of my smaller pucks to semi-quickly work through: Godrej and then Haslinger. I think that should be close to year-end by the time those three will be done.
