Trials of a woodpusher: Adventures in chess, backyard gardening, and maybe whisker chopping

I'm not a big boy by any stretch and try to keep my spare tire undersized for even a kid's bike. (keyword = try 🤪)
You know, now that you mention it, I am sorta hungry.

The 2019 edition of the Canadian Correspondence Chess Championship is winding down, with only 3 games remaining (the RG column). 1st place has gone back and forth between Alex Barclay and myself, with him leapfrogging me last month with a win over International Master Eugen Demian (red = latest result). Because Alex has better tie-breaks (the SB column) than I do, I need a win in my last game, which happens to be also against IM Demian.

It will be tight, but I should be able to score the victory and be a back-to-back winner of this tournament. Time will tell.
