An old friend (old as in long-time, not old age-wise) came over for breakfast this morning and wouldn't you know it, the handle on the door to the back yard is 95% toasted and is a struggle to open. *Ugh* Makes for an interesting morning and once she is gone, I will swap it out with a handle set from a closet.

No, that side of the mechanism works just fine.

Door handles swapped and all is right with the world once again, even if it took me 10 mins or so just to figure out how to change the mechanism from the 45 degree setting.

Now..... back to laundry!

What's this? An early* morning shave? OMG! Whazzupwitdat?

Picked up the AP Shave Synbad brush this morning and it's a BIG one, weighing in at 30mm. The knot is pillow soft and very rapidly produced gobs and gobs of lather while face lathering. I swear that if I fully splayed the knot, I would disappear from view!

A double-meh worthy way to start the day. Now on to coffee #2!

And you're saying this is a bad thing? You could splay it, lather everywhere above the neck, and go to town shaving. Would make a good Zoom call stunt shave.

Yup, that 30mm AP Shave Synbad is a BIG brush! After today's shave, I think I will switch down to a smaller one tomorrow. Other than that, there's not a lot going on here today.

The Edwin Jagger STF knot is quite a nice synthetic. This is the 23mm which EJ calls "Large" but it is in the sweet spot of 24mm +-2mm that seems to feel the best to me. There's still a few more days worth of Venture balm left and I might have to get adventuresome and find more places to plop it on if I hope to finish it before our road trip starting this weekend.
