Unless I absolutely blast myself with the fragrance, they appreciate it. The local "fragrance" isn't all that pleasant.
Sorry I got so far behind Josh, but caught up now. Some great shaves along the way though. There was a time when I thought that Chris H was the biggest soap fiend of the group; however, I think that you may have surpassed him in this regard. Either that, or you just have more time to write about it.

Lisa’s Natural Herbal Creations Artisan Shaving Soap Gentleman’s Lavender | ERN 204 5/8” Round Nose

Amen…a normal day yesterday, for the most part, and today’s shaping up to be much of the same. I still stayed up watching too many YouTube videos, but it’s all good. I was still able to get up and shave, record, and get it uploading.
Today brought some new stuff to the table, in LNHC Artisan Shaving Soap Gentleman’s Lavender. Now, I’ve used this scent before in her standard soap base. It’s a good scent, with the addition of the herbal scent notes, but truthfully not my favorite lavender scented soap. BUT…because it’s a lavender based scent, it pretty easily jumps into my top 20% of scents. Love me some lavender. I’ve got three other soaps in this base to use, and after the last one I’ll do a full review. But until then, it’s just going to be first impressions.
Three passes went by without incident. The ERN felt a little more rough today than I was hoping it was…but I may have under cooked the amount of water in the lather, so not going to blame the blade just yet. The only real issues I had were self-inflicted and not the fault of the soap, so just another reason to hold off on judgement. Topped off with the matching Elixir from Lisa’s as well as the Chatillon Lux Champs de Lavande AS for a fragrance. Good start to hopefully a great day.
