Happy Anniversary and if you ask me that is the perfect gift. One year for something I can't remember what, my wife ordered a soap off of Etsy, it ended up being a bust performance wise, but I didn't tell her that. I used it as a pre-shave soap til it was gone. It is the thought that counts with gifts.
Well folks, we survived the hurricane just fine, and this is my first day back at work since my surgery.
In the interim, I got the chance to use one of CBL's newest soaps, the Ghost Dragon's Blood with hemp oil. Those of you who also bought it already know how great it is. The scent is phenomenal, and Chris has developed an Elite Tier soap, for sure! In fact, this is one of the few soaps that I was able to use and skip aftershave, just rubbing the lather into my skin afterwords. I definitely want to see if this is repeatable, but the fact that I was using a Feather Pro Guard with over a dozen shaves on it has me confident this will reside in the highest Tier once I determine that. Great job Chris!
I am getting into my routine of healthy eating, which for now includes 2-3 oz of lean, soft protein at every meal. For lunch and dinner I usually have some variation of tuna, shrimp or chicken. But for breakfast, I am sure you can guess what's always on the menu:
So, as I settle in for the day, I wish you all a hearty "CLUCK CLUCK", and say "Good Luck!" to all the BINGO players!
Glad you made it through the storm Jim. And I am glad you are settling into a good eating routine! Eggs are so beneficial to our health that a lot of times it is overlooked or even demonized (even by doctors). But research on cholesterol and fat has changed a lot in the past ten years and doctors and other health professionals are finally getting up to speed. Still thinking of you as your recovery continues and your health improves!
I have 2-3 eggs every morning for breakfast. Love them!
I agree on the eggs. I have always had amaxing blood chemistry and very low total cholesterol and LDL. My HDL has always been on the higher side (that's a good thing!!!).
I love em so many different ways, too. For now I am having to stick to scrambling them. Always scramble in the pan, never in a bowl!
On the homefront, I forgot to mention it in my post from yesterday. My son Séamus just turned 19 on Sunday. The day before that he had an interview, and was accepted into the Apprenticeship Program and Norfolk Naval Shipyard, which is where I work as a contractor. Just like that, the kid got off his butt and may have secured an excellent career with the governement! 01000010 00110001 00110100
Wow! That is excellent news about your Son! That is an opportunity that many people would really want. The Shipyard work is strong in your family. Didn't you mention before that your dad worked in the shipyard also? Three generations of the west family building America's Navy!
