Neither of these extremes have anything to do with how close the razor will shave. Over the years, I have come to realize that I can get about the same quality of shave with any razor. Razors with small sweet spots require me to maintain the correct angle more closely. So I will describe razors as aggressive (likely to draw blood) and non aggressive ( likely to not draw blood).

Happy Hump Day Everyone. I enjoyed yesterday's shave so much that went back with the same lineup only changing the brush. The big CH3 synthetic tore through the Fat whipping up a wonderful rich slick lather. Three passes with the Feather AS-D2 caught the baby with ease. I really love this little razor. It consistently delivers a drama free fantastic shave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Happy Thursday everyone. This week is flying by very quickly. I am continuing to rotate through some of my favorite razors. Next up is the Yates 921. I have all 4 plates but prefer the M and H plates. The M plate with its 0.64mm blade gap is not an aggressive razor. The sweet spot seems to be larger and easier to maintain than the Feather. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. As usual I did have to buff my lower right neck.

Greyson Update.

Greyson is settling in very well. He is one of the most loving dogs. However, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. It takes a lot of positive reinforcement and repetition to get through. However he has really bonded and the trust is coming along.

Great shave kit and recap, as usual. Greyson’s a handsome boy, Clint! Trust takes a while. Gromit and Greyson are both hunting dogs, high energy and fiercely loyal to their humans! There’s no better companion than a loving dog! Gromit is laying in the chair by my side as I write this!

Thank you Jeff. Greyson is going to be a great dog. Like Gromit he is laying on his bed next to my desk. I really like Greyson's easy going personality. In the end we will get to the right place together.

Friday at last. What a week. All the hardware and software worked well together to deliver a wonderfully smooth shave. I am even warming up to the Ogallala Bay Rum even though I am pretty comfortable in saying this will not be on the rebuy list. All in all not a bad start to the day. I hope everyone has a great Friday.
