Happy Saturday Everyone. I am waiting of the appliance repair guy to show up this morning. The ice maker in the refrigerator is on the fritz again. We are fast approaching the time to punt on the thing. My wife is off to several craft shows looking for Christmas gifts. Who knows she might even find something for me. At least I was able to get in a relaxing shave before she left. I really love this lineup. The Donkey Milk soap just flat works for me and the CH2 synthetic is one of my favorite knots. I find the brush to be a face lathering dream. Three passes and touch ups tucked the baby in with ease. I find the Yates H plate easier to use than the M plate. I guess the wider sweet spot helps me hold the angle better. A splash of Barberry Coast Bay Rum aftershave got the wife's seal of approval. It is not a true bay rum. In addition to bay rum, I picked up notes of citrus and vanilla. However on dry down those notes faded and left a light but pleasant bay rum scent. Overall I think I will like this aftershave a lot. I will go back and finish my Grand Bay Rum aftershave before using this one further. Now for an afternoon of watching college football. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

it is supposed to be 9-12 but I am not holding my breath. UGA plays at noon, so I will be in the adult beverages shortly after kickoff.
How is the Havana? The scent sounded so good, I almost bought some of that as well.

I really like the scent - it has two predominant notes - a sweet rum and a humidor tobacco- both are present in the dry-down. I really love the aftershave, because both notes are present throughout the scent, it is very well blended, I am a little disappointed in the soap - I am not a snob, fragrance is more important to me, but for the cost this is a
glycerin base soap - so while I think the performance is good, and you can make it great with a pre-shave, it is in my opinion overpriced for basically a melt and pour.
However the packaging is top notch and some of the best in the business

Hope that ice maker gets fixed quickly, Clint. I know if two people who had water damage from the lines into those things.
