So....what say you?

Well......the Dodger season came to a terrible ending. But like everything else about the great game of baseball....there's always hope for next season. So, for now, I'm back to rooting for my Vegas Golden Knights. The season is only a week old and we look better than last year (last year was the season of multiple injuries...so everything looks better than that). And I'm going to a the VGK game tomorrow night against the Winnipeg Jets so that's going to be fun.

Birthday shave was extra sweet this morning. Nothing special in the way of hardware or software, still have the dregs of the CBL Hombres to work with and the Aristocrat is just about the most perfect razor I've ever used. On the re-plating front....I've decided (with help from the wife's expert opinion) to leave the original plating in place. Messing with perfection is not advisable. Also, it was her Grandfather's razor so she gets the final word.

On the new soap front.........only 5 people voted and by an overwhelming vote of 3 to 2, CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout won out. So I'll be using that soap for the next few months.

See ya Later!

I love your hockey team’s unis - and since your owner was Army - that ain’t bad neither as they say here in these parts

My team, the Flyers, have a new coach - that when he was coaching for other teams - I despised. Now I have to love him because he’s family 😂 I was bummed when we traded Nolan Patrick to the Knights - we had such high hopes for him. I hope the season goes well for you!

First VGK game of the season and we WON!!!! So I'm submitting a request to the team for free season tickets because if I'm at the game, we win. Only makes sense to have me at every home game for all time. Right?

Went to Los Angeles for my friend's son's wedding. He has all 3 of his boys out of the house now with 2 of them married and the 3rd engaged to be married. He's talking about not wearing pants anymore around the house......so I won't be visiting him any time soon. The wedding was long (full catholic mass plus the wedding equals 1 hour, 35 minute ceremony!! We know how to overdo things). and the reception was fun....until the bride got so drunk she had to go lie down for the rest of the night (not a good idea to NOT eat on the day you get married and only drink tequila afterwards). But our trips to LA have been more and more relaxing of late so we are planning more of those in the future (maybe if I'm lucky, I'll run into @CBLindsay or @GearNoir on one of my journeys out that way).

Today's shave:

Been using the CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout soap for a few days and let me tell you.....more lather than I can shake a razor at. The past two days a huge glob has fallen off the brush while applying it to my face. Its like bonus lather each morning.

Everything else is same old/same old.

See ya Later!
