Well, this has been quite a week.
The AC here at work has been a bit of a nightmare and the unit for the sales department completely died last week. So there has been sales people moving all over the building trying to find desk space that isn't a sweltering 100 degrees. Needless to say, having sales people in my nice, quiet engineering office has been trying (turns out they talk on the phone all day long). Yesterday they finally installed the new unit and while they were up there, they serviced and recharged the other units. So today, I have 65 degree air blowing out of the vent like a polar vortex....but there's no sales people in my office...so semi-victory.
My daughter and son in law have come and gone. Our son in law is a corrections officer in Tennessee and he collects firearms. My wife gifted him her step-grandfather's 1918 Colt 45 Army issue. He was so excited. He's already back home and getting it all cleaned up. I'm not a gun person myself but he seemed genuinely thrilled to receive it.
We're a week away from our cruise and the wife is nervous and excited. Getting those last minute details ironed out is always a pain but by this time next week.....I'll be headed to the ship and a nice, cold Mai Tai and some time by the pool.
Today Shave Journal:
Same old, same old....but with a small twist. Decided to use my RazorRock Snowman synth brush that
@Spider was nice enough to give me. Its been a while since I used the Snowman and he doesn't disappoint. The past few weeks I've been realizing that my brushes (of which I only have 7....yes
@NurseDave ...I ONLY have 7) don't have any cool names like the Snowman has. So I've been standing there each morning and trying to think of cool names for each brush. So far 3 of the 7 have names I feel good about, 3 others have names that could only be temporary and 1 has no name at all. At some point I'll give them all permanent names and post that info here.....since I know that's why any of us come and read these posts.
See Ya Later!
