I'm a new fan of AC SE. Do you know how many shaves you can expect from Schick Proline? That's what I'm using now.
I am new to the AC blade thing myself but @Dave in KY has mentioned on more than one occasion that you can get some decent numbers out of them. Of course that all depends on how many passes, how thick the beard is etc. Easily double digits I hear.

Really? @NurseDave you are killing those AC blades!
I have actually tried a couple times going past that. Once or twice forgetting how many shaves were on it and noticing a difference at 7 shaves. If it ain't the best, why include it in my routine?

I agree Dave and I honestly change blades on routine as opposed to degradation of performance. My DE I normally bin at four shaves. AC and Injector blades I am new at so I will let them run as long as I can to see what can be done.

My thoughts exactly. I'll see how far the Schick Proline AC blade takes me, but I won't push it.

The enjoyment of The General continues! I have never used the same razor on three occasions in a week unless travelling and even then I normally travel with two just to spice it up. So in reaching for it today and most importantly looking forward to stellar shave it would yield was quite telling. It did not disappoint.

Again, as with the first shave I went with First Line Shave Blue and it was again pretty awesome. The CK Eternity vibe is awesome with this soap and AS set.

Lovely two pass shave and as close as can be! Sunday done and the work week awaits. This evening shave was awesome and I really should get more evening shaves in. Hope the weekend was a good one.

Back to the realm of the DE for today after a pretty enjoyable run with the Colonial General SS SE. Today’s razor of choice the 1966 Gillette Aristocrat Adjustable. Fancy Slim yes but very good razor in my opinion. Loaded with a Wilkinson and dialled to 5 it is a smooth shaver for sure.

Henri et Victoria Terre d’Henri was at hand and a great choice for an office Tuesday. Subtle in scent and awesome in performance. Matching balm is quite nice also.

Two lovely passes to achieve DFS level and off we go. Quick spritz of Guerlain Habit Rouge to finish the morning routine. Happy Tuesday all!

Happy Friday all! Just a simply good shave on tap for today with the inclusion of Musgo Real Lavender SC, Dr Jon’s Flowers in the Dark and the iKon Standard (Tech).

Lovely two pass shave and smooth as can be. The iKon Standard or Tech really only has one purpose...to annihilate three or four days growth. It melts away stubble better than my Muhle R41 and that is saying a lot.

Happy Friday all!

@Cvargo would you be so kind as to edit the above post...seems the Issey Miyake REALLY wanted to be in the pic but alas...not. Just move the text up so it could be part of the written group...:p
