Well I sat with Sam before New Years trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with the Supply V2 and came to the conclusion it was how I was reloading the blade after cleaning it. So fresh blade in today and right as rain as they say!

Proraso green is the smell of Italian Barbershops or at least that is what I am going with and my new bowl is bringing me so much joy, I reached for the cream this morning. Little pre-shave joy too!

Lovely two pass shave (WTG/ATG) and smooth as can be. The three dot plate is my fav of the three I have for this polished beauty. From now on I just take everything apart, clean, dry everything and just reassemble.

Let’s try something new! The Colonial General SE - SS is raved about by many and this one is just in from KJ. Thanks @Spider. The first thing you notice about the razor is the weight and the solid build quality. Balances well and pretty impressive in the hand. Loaded up with a new Schick Pro Line AC blade.

Soap of choice today was First Line Shave Blue which is a ringer for CK Eternity. Lovely soap for a great cause. Truly enjoyable beyond the scent it lathered well and was slick. The matching AS was very nice and post shave feel was phenomenal.

Lots of lather so I went for a three pass shave however, I would have been quite happy with the results after one! BBS achieved in the end! The General is mild and smooth but mows down the beard quite efficiently! I have an iKon El Jefe that is practically terrifying to use and isn’t anywhere near this beauty in efficiency and smoothness. I can see why people rave about the Colonial General. Sorry Chris @GearNoir I beat you to this one Brother, she might come visit you :p but I’m getting her Canadian citizenship this week.

She’s in a good place! Can’t ask for more than that. Besides, we’ll see how my special item stacks up once it arrives!

Needed a quick and easy shave this morning and really was pressed for time this morning. Wanted to give the General another run this morning after the stellar maiden voyage on Friday but alas, it was not to be. 6C was waiting loaded with an Astra SP and plate 5 so it was put to use this morning.

The Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe SC was acquired during Boxing Day and really is quite good. Grabbed my crafty bowl and lathered up a storm.

Lovely two pass shave and off to work we go. The Rockwell is really turning out to be quite the razor which, I don’t use near as much as I should. Happy Monday!

Tomorrow. General. Heel or high water. It really doesn’t get much easier than the v1 in the AC SE world!

Well the maiden voyage of “The General” was so throughly enjoyed that I have been waiting to give it another go. The Rockwell 6C came up first though and did an exemplary job on Monday.

Soap of the day was Stirling Gatlinburg which is just fantastic. I can’t get enough of this scent! Though I normally keep this manly a scent away from the office...not today!

Two wonderful passes and wow! The General is a confirmed RAD killer! Well in the SE realm anyway....
