70...my oh my! Well that is perfectly respectable! Barely...:p come @Dave in KY that is 112 KMH. That gets you run over on the highway here...if you aren’t buzzing 120-130 you getting pushed....
 
So today was supposed to be another OC but I decided to forego it and reach for my Delta Echo Slim! This little beauty is originally a 1964 Gillette Slim Adjustable that got the wonderful Delta Echo treatment part of the Cubano Edition. From a buddy down in Kentucky who goes by Dave...yes, that @Dave in KY...

Equally awesome was the soap of the day CBL Barbershop which has incredible scent and makes an incredible lather...only shame is you run out of things to shave before it gives up the lather! The Simpson Colonel X2L made easy work of this soap! Lathered up and off we went...

Wonderful two pass DFS was achieved. Topped off with Clubman and a spritz of English Laundry Tahitian Waters EDP. Now that is the perfect Sunday shave after a day filled with chores on this Canada Day long weekend! Now we grill!! To all those enjoying this fine weekend where ever you may be...take care, safe travels and happy shaves all.

Shave excellence!

The CBL Barbershop is a lot like the Oud Minerale...almost doesn’t need any scented AS to finish it because those wonderful soap oils just linger after the shave so long and nice on the skin!

It really is a fantastic soap and I agree that you don’t need an AS...but man I ALWAYS want and AS!!!:p
 
So back to the OCs we go and this particular one is a Gillette New LC replated by Chris Spencer at Back Roads Gold. Lovely razor and whether you grab a SC or LC everyone should have one in their OC collection. Wilkinson Sword (German) was the blade of choice and always does a great job regardless of razor it gets thrown into.

Soap of the day was RazoRock Black Bay whose praises I have sung before and no change today. Love the scent of this green beauty. Chubby 1 had no issues today as usual and a mighty face lather was enjoyed all around.

Lovely two pass shave with a little buffing and a super close almost BBS shave achieved. Topped it off with some Bvlgari Man and perfection achieved. Lovely sunny day and much to be done but made that much better with this shave. Take care all and safe travels!

First shave of the vacation here in Ottawa, no pics and you’ve seen this combination already so unless there is a need for or love of hotel granite we shall dispense.

Great two pass DFS and we are good for sightseeing in Ottawa.
