Ok, so here is some of what I got for my Birthday....

A skeleton version of Jenga
A skull face wrap
spidey stickers
A cool pinhead pencil
Purple sparkley duct tape
And a spider wax seal stamp.

Amber also gave me this super creepy Ronald McDonald doll, which is actually a backpack... very vintage.

Kinda, I guess. I had a lot of fun with it last year (my first time) and I’m planting a little more this year! I know the family who lived here before sold stuff at farmers markets, but this is just for fun for me, and I don’t have time for that anyway.
 
A little late to the party here KJ...I have been out of commission for most of the week but just wanted to say Happy belated Birthday! Looks like you had a great Birthday weekend with a lot of fun things in store! Best of all, you got to spend it with someone! I am amazed (2nd year in a row) at your garden. I so wish I had the property and the soil that you have. I would have a garden like yours also. Where I am at...you can't plant much right in the ground. It's all clay and no drainage. So we have to make raised gardens with soil that we bring in. But your garden looks awesome!

we have the same issue with the high clay content but ours has also been fired by the desert sun!

Right? The pieces are very slick. Makes it challenging!
 
Just a quick update from this weekend. Not much to speak of shave wise. I've just been using whatever is on arms reach or whatever speaks to me at the time, so I haven't put much planning into my SOTD, or testing anything specifically. I have been using a Yaqi synthetic brush that I picked up on the BST. It was intended to be a PIF brush, but I'm really enjoying it.

This weekend, Amber and I re-dyed our hair.... hopefully mine doesn't fade as quickly this time. And yes, I'm sporting a fresh head shave as well.

Then on Sunday, we went to a Tattoo Convention in Kansas City, so we dressed up a little bit and had a blast!

And we finished off the day with dinner at Gates BBQ, which is my favorite place for BBQ in KC.... Brisket, Burnt Ends, Pickles and Cole Slaw! Yum!

Then of course the night ended with Game of Thrones!!!! Yery Exciting!
