Still smells great, like Williams Currier & Ives and I would definitely use it.

You might want to try the Spider Williams method. Just rub the puck on your face and then face lather. I'm going to switch back to that method this weekend. It works surprisingly well.

I've tried arko, mystic waters, and i think it was a Stirling shave sticks. Never could get it right that way.
Probably operator error, but it never worked out well.

After using several different brushes, here is what I found worked best for lathering Williams:

#1 Synthetic
#2 Boar
#3 Badger
#4 Horse

I can concur with the first 3.....never used a horse hair brush.
