The 4th "Annual" Williams Mug Soap 3017 Challenge!

Anyone close to finishing their puck yet?

I had a phenomenal shave this morning with the Williams! I know I had said beginning Saturday I'd start incorporating other soaps/creams back into my routine, but after today's shave, I'm seriously reconsidering that statement.
I did it like that the first two years of this, this year I'm determined to finish this stuff.
And if I ever run across the vintage version in the wild, I'm going to snatch it up. It's the only thing rivaling Tallow and Steel for me.

Current state of affairs, I'm guessing there's still a month on this at least.

I did take 10 days off while we were away on holiday, but otherwise it's the only soap I've used since starting.

Something with this particular variant of Paladin works really well for me, so I'm only using the two brushes I have with this crop of badger and really getting very easy, thick, luxurious lathers.

Can't get over that incredible lather. Right now, if I were limited to only using the vintage Williams (Menthol) soaps from now on, I'd be okay with that. 😁
Same here, and it makes me wonder where did we go wrong when lather was this good back in the day.

Still a lot of soap left on this puck, perhaps enough for another month's worth of shaves.
