The 4th "Annual" Williams Mug Soap 3017 Challenge!

You might want to try the Spider Williams method. Just rub the puck on your face and then face lather. I'm going to switch back to that method this weekend. It works surprisingly well.
I've tried arko, mystic waters, and i think it was a Stirling shave sticks. Never could get it right that way.
Probably operator error, but it never worked out well.

After using several different brushes, here is what I found worked best for lathering Williams:

#1 Synthetic
#2 Boar
#3 Badger
#4 Horse

Have 5 more in. Been using the synthetic that kj sent me. It is quite deceiving when loading the soap. I'm used to mainly badgers that hold all the lather near the tips, this one it creeps up and hides further in making you think there isn't that much in there.
Until you start to build .. then there is enough for 8 people.
I'm getting it dialed in a bit. At least with this soap. It is definitely different than the other two I have tried. Much better.
I don't think synthetic brushes are ever going to replace badgers for me, but I definitely won't not buy one now.

I had a phenomenal shave this morning with the Williams! I know I had said beginning Saturday I'd start incorporating other soaps/creams back into my routine, but after today's shave, I'm seriously reconsidering that statement.

One of us...one of us....one of us....

Last day of February but the 3017 continues..... Anyone close to finishing their puck yet? I'd say I have another 3-4 weeks until mine is gone.
