Yep, especially if you are slower than him.Lesson of the day: Do not try to henka Hoshoryu unless you want to be thrashed about savagely and thrown to the ground.
This has been one of the best bashos for exciting matches.Several exciting upsets and fantastic finishes!!! Some of the matches seems to start out in sleep mode, but the finish was awesome!
Yes sir! Agreed and the Snorlax must have gotten enough sleep and has kicked some butt this tournament! This has been one of the best bashos for exciting matches.
They do, but that's par for the course. We can only hope.I just checked and NHK is still a day behind and showing no Juryo Matches. Boy they stink and providing for their foreign fans.
Midori got so unlucky with when he lost traction. that one could have gone either way.HOSHORYU SPOILS IT FOR MIDORIFUJI!!!!! WOW, What a match!!!
TORINAOSHI FOR WAKA & KOTONOWAKA!!! AND IT'S WAKA!!!!
Great set of matches to end the day!
Midori got so unlucky with when he lost traction. that one could have gone either way.
With the way some of the Komosubi are performing this Basho, we could see a few of them going for Ozeki in May i think, along with Kiribiyama.
I actually think Kiribiyama has the best shot. He had 11 wins last Basho at Komosubi and is at 10 now. Daieisho was M1 last Basho but is setting a solid base for the push with this Basho.
Couldn't agree more! Kiribiyama, Wakamotoharu, Daieisho(best chance), and Hoshoryu(not likely) could all pull it off or set themselves up to get there in a hurry!
It could be a particularly exciting basho this May! Imagine Terunofuji and Takakeisho back and doing well!I actually think Kiribiyama has the best shot. He had 11 wins last Basho at Komosubi and is at 10 now. Daieisho was M1 last Basho but is setting a solid base for the push with this Basho.
Ya well… if I had one…@BarberDave are we wearing the sumo shirts today or tomorrow for end of Basho?
