Steve's Journal: The Saga Continues....

Thanks for all the birthday wishes guys! I was actually on the road for work on my birthday (meeting in North Jersey) and came back to my office to a lot of catching up to do today. So needless to say I’ve missed out on a lot around here...again lol.
 
Shave Time!

I’m not going to list all the gear, but I did stick to the GC for my razor. Otherwise I went between a few soaps and brushes. One thing I did notice is that the Kai blade I started with only lasted about 3 shaves before I noticed a major decline in quality. Loaded with a Parker Platinum and everything was back to normal. I don’t remember this issue with Kai’s before so it might have just been a bad blade.

I’ve noticed that I haven’t really been straying from the GC much and that probably speaks to how good this razor actually is. But I do want to start giving some other razors some attention. I may start up a weekly rotation. I’ve also been thinking about doing a write up on the Tech’s that I’ve recently acquired. We'll see.

Willie World:
Willie has some special treatments done by my sister in law last week. She has a Magnawave machine (you can google it to see what it does, II’ll explain it wrong lol) that she uses on racehorses. 3 treatments on Willie and he was a totally different dog. Then today he lost his mind while out for a walk when another dog walked by and he’s all stiff again. Hopefully another round of treatments will help. It was amazing the different it made initially. If he could only learn how to act in public haha.
 
Quick check in guys....So work has been really busy on both the full time job and real estate fronts. So that's a good thing, but it keeps me away from the Cadre, which I don't like! Hopefully things will calm down at the day job soon though and I'll have some more free time. So here's a quick update of what's been going on:
-I didn't get the promotion at the day job that I applied for, as most of you know, but I did get a small promotion yesterday with the hint of bigger things on the horizon.
-Willie's treatments seem to really be working. He's like a totally different dog. Magna-Wave. It works, look it up!
-Shave wise, I've kind of been in a rut lately. Had some really bad shaves about a week ago. But rebounded yesterday and today. Attempting a new blade in the GC tomorrow....we'll see what happens.
-I have officially fallen down the fountain pen rabbit hole....

Trying to get somewhat caught up soon on eveyone's going ons. Hope you guys are all doing good!!!
