Steve's Journal: The Saga Continues....

I was thinking about where ole three names went off to. Good to see you again, Steve. Rough luck with the leak. Holler if you need to restock on some stuff.

Just lost all my loose blades and any that weren’t wrapped in cellophane. I still have over 100 Feathers and roughly 60 Parker’s. That should hold me over for a while lol.
No internet there huh? Glad you're back then!
Plenty of internet, I just never used it!

I know, it’s killing me!

I’ve taken on a lot of new responsibilities at work in the hopes that the extra work continues to be recognized. The new boss is pushing for me to replace him in the next year or so when he retires.

This stuff is really cutting into my Cadre time....
Wait, we're not going to see you for a year? That guys needs early retirement.

Wow....I can't believe I haven't posted since September! I think it's mostly because I feel bad. Why should I ask you guys to read my stuff if I don't have the time to read yours, you know? Anyway, I'm trying to get here more often. I have been lurking but haven't been close to being able to keep up lol!

It's been a while since we've had....
Shave Time!

Razor:
Gillette Fatboy G-?
Blade: Parker Platinum
Brush: Everready Mystery Badger
Soap: LNHC Somali Rose
AS: Avon Spicy

My shaves have hit a rough patch recently. Not sure what's going on but for the last month it's been weeper city! Not much irritation after they close up though so I guess that's good. Today was the same. A quick WTG/ATG 2 pass and I'm solidly DFS. The Somali Rose and Avon Spicy are a surprisingly great pair, and once the Somali Rose scent wore off the Spicy stuck around the rest of the day. Good stuff!

In Other News...
Life has been busy. I think I mentioned a few months back that I was given a small promotion at work which has kept me fairly busy. We’ve also gone through quite a few personnel changes and I’m now going after another management position. The position of yard supervisor, which will put me back outside for the majority of the day. It will also however, get me the previous management experience that was part of the roadblock from the branch manager position I tried for a few months ago. If it falls into place I’ll be supervising and working with my own team of 5 or 6 guys. I started here out in the yard so it won’t be too much of an adjustment other than getting used to being out in the weather again lol.

Little boss man is doing well! We’ve even been able to keep some throw pillows on the couch with out any holes being chewed in them! Going on about 2 months now!
