No Bruce, unfortunately it was an empty box. My grandfather’s straight didn’t have one though so it worked out. I might get lucky when we find the rest of the stuff though because my dad’s stuff should be with that. There was a little bit of talc left in the tin though!
 
Something looks different around here....

Weill I'm going to have a lot of catching up to do around here, but wow....What a great job! @Cvargo @CBLindsay @HandleBarberDave , you guys knocked it out of the park. It was well worth the wait!

As for my time spent in The Great Shutdown of 2019, I got a few shaves in but didn't really keep track of what I used. I should've taken SOTD pics so I could do a cool photo recap like @uacowboy, but I wasn't that smart. So I'll guess I'll start over with today's shave:

Shave Time!
Razor: Rockwell 6C Plate 4
Blade: Personna Platinum
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: WSP Barbershop
AS: WSP Barbershop

So the last 2 shaves I re-visited a blade that has given me nothing but trouble. Paired with the Rockwell 6c, it performed quite well. No major issues. I had 2 weepers (one on each shave) but nothing major. I attribute that to this being a fresh blade and my technique being a bit off from using one blade for 30 shaves lol. I'm still readjusting from that, but the Ladas Super Stainless performed very well. I would consider buying a 100 pack for sure, but I just ordered a 100 pack of Parkers so that'll have to wait. Otherwise nothing crazy going on here.

In Other News....
The real estate gig continues to frustrate and surprise all at the same time lol. I've been very slow so far this year, then out of nowhere I get 2 opportunities to sit open houses (this gives me a lot of potential leads if people show up), I have one rental client that I'm actively working with, and 2 buyer clients that are looking to make a move in the next few months. The Phillies finally signed Bryce Harper and tickets are selling out fast, so I'm hoping things start working out so I can get my hands on some soon! LOL

Willie World:

Willie man is still being a pain in the butt...attacking pillows, chasing Ozzy, bugging Lucy for face licks, and begging for snacks. So business as usual haha! He got a special surprise from @NurseDave that he loves and cries for every time I go into the cabinet we keep them in lol. He's still not happy about this cold weather though. 7 degrees with the windchill when I woke up yesterday 🥶
 
Nice update and I agree that the site is looking great. I'm just generally in the habit of taking SOTD pics so I just figured I'd drop them in.

I found a razor I can pair these Personna Platinum blades with, but it's still not my favorite. Got the job done today, but left a little bit of irritation. Still a close shave and the irritation wasn't really that bad so I can't complain. Otherwise an uneventful shave...which is a good thing!

In Other News....
I started to lose my voice last night, and all day today it's been pretty rough. I'm hoping that by tomorrow I'm back to normal for the first of 2 open houses I'll be hosting this weekend. It'll be kind of tough to do if I can't talk to anyone lol. Otherwise I feel fine though so I'm not sure where this even came from.

Willie World:
Willie met the babysitter that will be taking care of him while we're in Florida for Spring Training. Of course Willie loves her so no worries. It's Lucy the bad cat that she needs to worry about lol. We normally take WIllie to a boarding facility that is staffed for about 14 hours a day. THey have play times with the dogs and WIllie usually gets to hang in the front office with the girls. With his back not being back to normal after the last surgery though, we thought he would be better off at home. I'm sure he'll appreciate it too.

And ugh, finding pet sitters. It’s like paying for 2 vacations in one lol. Boarding is so expensive! We try to have a trusted young adult stay over at the house instead. Leave em some food and some spending money and they’re happy, lol.

Yes, petsitting/boarding can be very expensive. Luckily this is a girl my wife used to work with, so we're getting a really good price. Plus with her staying at the house we don't have to pay to board WIllie, then pay someone else to check on the cats. We also get the added assurance that the house isn't empty which, while we don't live in a bad neighborhood or anything, is a nice perk.

Yeah, boarding cost suck, especially for our 70lb hot mess. Hope you get your voice back. If not download a text to talk app.
 
Have yourself a Hot Tottie tonight before bed. you will sleep well and they always help my voice rebound.
