Shave Time!

Razor: Rockwell 6C Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainles (20)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet
AS: Razorock Blue Fougere

The Ladas continues on and I walked away with a 3 pass BBS shave with no irritation. This blade continues to surprise me and at this point I think it may last the entire month! The only downside is that I haven't been able to switch out razors.

The Wholly Kaw soap I used was a sample sent to me by Gonzo44 a while ago that I hadn't used yet. Scent wise it smelled like a mix between a nice fougere and a musty smell. Not sure if the soap scent is changing from sitting for too long or if that's what it's supposed to smell like. Performance wise it was excellent. Great lather, slickness, and post shave feel. Top tier for sure.

Echo cardiogram was today for the heart issues. They told me I'll get the results in a week. We shall see what that brings...

Willie World:
Still warm, still happy. Willie is hoping this weather stays and that spring came early! Doubtful though.

Have you tried the Rustic line? I believe it’s their Vegan formula. I haven't tried it yet, but I’m curious to know how it compares.

I remember using the Rustic Line a while back. It was okay. If you are into a vegan based soap then this one is a good one. But it won't compete with any tallow based soaps. Honestly, in my opinion, if you are going with a vegan soap...Dr. Jon's is one of the best out there. I think Sudsy Soapery probably makes the best non-tallow soaps, but I am not sure if it is considered vegan or not. I like Dr, Jon's though...a very solid soap and Jon and his wife really stand by their vegan principles as well asa ensuring their products are cruelty free and such. In other words...they actually live the lifestyle and adhere to their principles as opposed to just offering a product. It isn't for me necessarily...but I definitely respect that. Plus Dr. Jon's Anne Bonny might be my favorite Bay Rum scent! They add black tea to the equation that really gives the scent a nice punch!

Hoping and Praying the tests come back in the best possible way!

Shave Time!

Razor: Rockwell 6C Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (21)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet
AS: Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood

Early shave, late update. Went with the same soap as yesterday because I forgot to leave something else out the night before. The performance of the WK Fougere Bouquet is really good, the scent is a little lacking though. But as I mentioned yesterday, this may be because the soap sample has just been sitting in a sandwich bag for the last couple of months. All in all a great shave again.

I wasted another Saturday morning showing the potential investor another property he isn't going to touch. He has good reason with this one, there was about 3 inches of standing water in the basement! Hopefully he finds something he can work with soon.

After the showing, the wife and I headed over to Philly to the eyeglass place we order our frames from and had some adjustments made. I've had this pair of glasses for over a month and now I can finally wear them!

Willie World:

We're staying in tonight and Willie is happy to have snuggle buddies on the couch! He's been sleeping most of the day and evening, so I'm sure he'll be up ready to play soon when we're ready for bed.

Good shave!

Is your investor purposefully looking for a fixer?

Yeah he’s looking to start flipping houses. So the idea is to buy something really cheap that needs some work and fix it and sell. Most of these are bank owned properties that have been foreclosed on and have been vacant for some time, hence the water in the basement. Or like last week, the side door that had been kicked in by some kids. You don’t wanna know what we found in one of the bedrooms on that one....

Shave Time!

Razor: Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless (22)
Brush: WWBW Jingle 2 Band Badger
Soap: WSP Blackbeard Formula T
AS: WSP Blackbeard mentholated

Still going strong with the Ladas. Today I probably got the closest shave I’ve ever had. It did involved a good bit of clean up, but I’m pretty sure there were Dolphins singing for the first time in my bathroom. A milestone shave for sure! The Ladas continues to surprise me, but it definitely mellowed out after the first week. I’m afraid of what’s going to happen once I switch to a fresh blade lol. I’m thinking of picking up a 100 pack of these Ladas SS blades if I can find them.

The WSP Blackbeard is currently my fave, and WSP is a top tier soap for me.

As I type this update I’m sitting and waiting for people to show up to an open house I’m hosting for another agent. No traffic so far. It’s a rainy Sunday here so we’ll see how it goes. The last 2 I did fir other agents as favors had zero visitors. I’m hoping this isn’t the same....I could be home playing RDR2 ???

Willie World:

Willie was a sleepy puppy all day yesterday, and at 9 o’clock last night he woke up ready to play. So until about 10:30 we played on the floor until he was ready to go back to sleep. He’s weird sometimes lol.

Bummer there’s no foot traffic. As consolation, I authorize you for a full evening of RDR2.

I might get some time in later, but after the open house I’m headed up to the In-law’s house to catch the end of the NASCAR race. Well, I’m really going for the food and top shelf alcohol, I have Very little interest in NASCAR ???
