I found a pair on their website that I like but figured I’d go try on a pair that’s similar style before I order anything. Thanks for leading me to the edge of this rabbit hole and then pushing me over the edge @WildWest74

Shave Time!
Razor: Muhle R41 OC Rose Gold
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless
Brush: Mystery Badger
Soap: WSP Mahogany
AS: WSP Mahogany
First shave in about 3 days. I was due to have 2 razor land yesterday and was waiting to use the Muhle R41 I ordered but it didn’t show up in time. So today it got put to the test with 3 days of growth and it didn’t disappoint. 3 passes and BBS, no asterisk needed! I’ve heard these razors were extremely aggressive, but I found it to be a much smoother shave than the Fatip Grande. No alum sting at all post shave and no weepers. Very rare for me. Looking forward to seeing how this razor performs as a daily/every other day driver.
I also received a Parker Semi Slant as part of my order. I’ve never used a slant razor before so I’m excited to try this one out as well. Both razors look great and seem to be well manufactured. Both are also on the heavier side, which I prefer.
In Other News…
Our oldest (and only well behaved) fur baby Ozzy has come up with a hotspot on his face. From what the wife tells me, it’s basically an itchy spot caused by allergies but he’s scratched his cheek raw. So he now has to wear a cone for a few days. He isn’t happy…

Thanks Chris. Yeah he hasn’t had to wear a cone in a very long time so it’s been quite interesting to watch him adjust to it haha!Always feel bad for animals that have to be cones…while secretly laughing at them trying to adjust to their new head space

Poor Ozzy.
Thankful he isn’t wearing the cone because of anything serious. Just to keep him from scratching. He’s mad at us but he’ll get over it haha!

Another great shave from the R41 today. There’s definitely a lot of blade feel on this razor, but nothing uncomfortable. And it hasn’t caused any irritation or major damage yet!
I haven’t used this soap in a while, but to me it’s a good fall scent. Notes include cherry, smoke, ozone, and molten lava!
My Stirling Gentleman AS is officially kicked. Definitely need to replace this one since the wife really likes it.
In Other News…
Last night I picked up my first pair of cowboy boots. I’ve always wanted a pair but never pulled the trigger. The wife and I drove down to a local “Cowboy Outfitter” which also happens to be across the street from where they hold a local rodeo every weekend. Being a small mom and pop place, they were super helpful and very knowledgeable since they tend to get a lot of riders from the rodeo that come in for gear. They also just happened to have gotten a new shipment in yesterday which included the boots I was eying up online. It was meant to be lol.

Willie got some back patio/Monday Night Football hang time last night. We were hoping Lamar Jackson would score my team 75 points to pull me ahead this week in one league, but he fell short at 42(which is still insanely good). Willie quickly forgot about the loss when bedtime rolled around and he got his “stop humping my pillow” treat!
