I hear that. Some of our equipment might qualify for donations to museums of dead tech, and if there is a computer at my work that is less than 8 years old I'll eat my puck of vintage Williams.

Same here. My desktop is probably about 7 years old. Somehow they were able to give me a brand new iPhone 11 though

I’m told our work leases all of our computer stuff, and after X number of years it’s not supported any more and replaced. How that’s economic I don’t know.

We pay for licenses to use our handheld check in devices. They’re kind of like cell phone sized tablets. We got an email from corporate last week that we’re currently paying almost a million dollars nationwide for licenses on devices that are no longer supported by our current software. They won’t terminate the license until the device is sent back, so needless to say corporate wants them back ASAP!

Just a lazy Saturday today. We’ve been watching Madmen and are on the last season so we’ll likely finish that tonight.

Willie weasled his way out of a bath today. Today’s high was 35 and he would’ve been way to cold while he dried off. He hates baths so I’m sure he’s happy about it.

So I decided to break out the Fatboy this morning and crank it up to....5. It did not treat me good. I walked away BBS but at the cost of a lot of burn and some redness. I don’t think it had much to do with the blade since yesterday showed no signs of any issues. Tomorrow I’ll be going back to the Yuma to give my fave a rest.

In Other News...
We hired another CSR today that will start in 2 weeks and may have scared HR enough to get them moving on posting our other available positions. Sometimes you just gotta yell at someone to get stuff done!

Willie went to work with his momma today since they were putting a new roof on the house next door. He would’ve been going nuts all day. So instead he got to go hang with her and got some good tranquilizers because he’s a jerk there too haha. He’s Stoney Baloney tonight!
