Shave Time!

Razor:
Black Handle Super Speed
Blade: Derby Premium (6)
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
Soap: LMHC Somali Rose
AS: Clubman

Shave number 6 on the Derby Premium today. Still going stronk! Had to switch the razor out of boredom. I was able to pull a DFS+, but did snag a weeper. I think that was more me adjusting to the razor change and not really anything to do with the blade.

The person we put in my old position at work isn’t quite cutting it. She knows she’s there on a trial basis and has to earn the job, but so far she isn’t showing any promise. I really don’t want to have to go back to doing that job until we find a suitable replacement, and continue to learn the new job. I guess we’ll see what happens.

The promotion at work officially took place today. Strange that it happened on a Sunday. In the middle of a pay period. But that’s just how my company rolls I guess. I’m sure it also had something to do with the fact that HR is using new software that they still don’t understand haha. Glad it’s finally done though!

Going to the Flyers/Panthers game tomorrow night with my uncle. Him and my aunt used to be die hard fans and actually followed the team with the booster club in the late 70’s. I try to get to a few games with him every year.

Current situation-napping. Life is good.

Congrats on the official promotion. Definitely weird that they'd do it in the middle of the pay period. I'm sure they're screaming "because reasons!"

I'll try to channel my inner Willie after dinner.

Hockey in person is sooooo much better than on TV. You can see plays develop the length of the ice, while TV follows the puck. And the sounds of 10 men skating, colliding, and shooting add so much to the experience. (y)

It’s amazing how fast the game actually is too. When you sit up high, or watch on TV, you don’t really get a feel for how fast these guys are moving on the ice. Or how hard they actually shoot the puck.

Shave Time!

Razor:
Black Handle SS (needs a nickname)
Blade: Derby Premium (11)
Brush: Eveready Mystery Badger
Soap: CBL Tobacco & Caramel
AS: Stetson Cooling

Shave number 11 with the Derby Premiuim. Still going strong, but I am noticing a marked decline in the closeness of my shaves. I’ll keep pushing though, because the shaves are still pretty comfortable. No tugging or anything, and no irritation or razor burn.

The Flyers game last night was awesome! We were directly behind the net the Flyers shot on twice(the teams switch which net they’d shoot on every period), and we were 7 rows off the ice! The closest I’ve ever sat for a hockey game. It was really cool to see the speed and intensity that close up. The Flyers won 3-1.
