Today's @Fenster SODA shave is one of my eldest son's favorites!

Razor: Feather Artist Club SS (Folding)
Blade: Feather Pro Soft Guard Artist Club
Brush: Yaqi Purple Haze
Lather: CBL Soap Grape Soda (Chilled)
Aftershave: Ginger’s Garden Grape Soda

If this doesn't remind you of Grape NeHi! A fantastic shave to take you down memory lane. I especially like the cooling effect - gives it that soda effervescence. I bought this originally for my eldest son to get him interested and keep him focused during shaving (he is autistic and scents and sounds play a big role for him) and it is definitely one of his favs! He loves the cooling agent. We also use this as part of his occupational therapy to help with his motor skills when writing - we use a brush to form a lather on a desk and write his words. He laughs and says "cold cold cold" because the cooling agent makes his fingers cold - makes me smile.

I of course, steal it from time to time, because it is a truly awesome soap base - and I really enjoy gourmand scents - especially drinks. Gingers Garden Grape Soda aftershave rounds out the experience - I bought it especially to match the soap. Same bubbly feeling - excellent job for both.

I am still honing my skills with a "straight" with the Feather - the Pro Soft Guard blade really tames the experience - I usually use the Pro Guard or the Kai Captain Titan Mild. All in all a great shave.

Phils lost to the Marlins - another pitching fiasco - so we may be on a break

Strange call to put Feliz in after what happened with the Reds. Your pen is really having a rough go of it!
I know right? I do like Girardi - but some of his calls of late have been eye opening. Feliz is definitely one of them. It doesn't help that we have some starters struggling (Nola) as well and our up and comer - Spencer Howard - who all of a sudden can't seem to pitch more than 2 innings. This bullpen was supposed to be our new and improved squad. They did good the first two weeks. Now I know what it is like to be a Cleveland Browns fan :D

When I was in Ocean City last week we went to a candy store that had a display of vintage/retro Soda Pop and they had Grape NeHi. Almost bought one.

Did I miss something, or have you not yet explained why you ruin both your whiskey and coffee by mixing them?

My kids and I are spoiled - we have one of those shops here in downtown - it's one of their favorite things to do - we get pizza at Pretzel & Pizza Creations - then walk across the street to the soda place.

Many a mornings in my college and recent grad days where I mixed some lower proofed bourbon into the morning coffee to get a head start on the weekend parties! Don't do that much anymore but my FIL introduced me to bourbon cream while on vacation a few years ago and man is that stuff delicious in your morning cup!
