Razor: Timeless Brass Head with Stork Taipan Stainless Steel/Brass Handle

Did you shave without a blade this time? ;)
This is a collab between Talbot Shaving & Mail Grooming. Where the other scents all illicit thoughts of vacation resorts - these bring a remote island feel - very calming - I imagine smelling something similar in a spa. Top notes: lime, lavender, spearmint, lemongrass, lemon, & eucalyptus. Then middle notes of sweet orange, pink grapefruit, and spike lavender. Finally, patchouli and vetiver for the base. The citrus is not sweet here - and the lemongrass is very prevalent.
That sounds like a mini-vacay in your den! For me, a summer scent (and I'm guessing here) would have a bit of a coconut and pineapple.

Would it be wrong to root for them to capture the record? Heck, I can remember rooting for the Pirates to just not lose 100 games! Ours is such an incompetently run team here.
Not wrong at all lol - and if the bullpen keeps it they just might get the record this week - and to think this is the new and improved bullpen. I remember when the Pirates were in danger of setting the record for all time losses a few years back - and who held the record? The Phillies!

The Pirates have settled into the role of a pretty darned good Triple A team.
to use a Braveheart quote: "You see, as king, you must find the good in any situation."

I am late doing my daily shave and this time - I am glad I did. The next several shaves are inspired by @Fenster..........in another string we are debating the best non-sports rivalry and he had the audacity to even mention that there are some of our countrymen and women that refer to the fantastic genre of carbonated, flavored water as pop instead of its rightful name of soda....I thought the matter settled as @CVargo concurred. But then, low and behold, @NurseDave chimed in with pop. After I recovered off the floor, I am reminded that in his case.....that no matter how much high end scotch one consumes......you can still be a dreg on society. C'mon my dear friend......you're a medical professional - with ideas like that - I might think that you still use leaches or bleed someone to get out their bad humours 😆

So the next couple of shaves will be dedicated to the scent of SODA!

Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather Pro Soft Guard Artist Club
Brush: Yaqi Cola
Lather: Elly's Wonder Shop Prancola & WIckham Soap Company Club Cola
Aftershave: WIckham Soap Company Club Cola
Additional Care:
Barrister & Mann Terrorade
Zingari Man Rescue Potion

I started the theme with a rivalry in itself! Coke vs Pepsi - can't get any bigger rivalry than that. Both soaps provide wonderful, slick lather. Both are vegan/vegetal based. I love the cola scent - Wickham's really pops though (Elly's is there once you lather but it is muted off the puck). The balm again is great - comes out of the container like a clear, almost hand-sanitizer consistency - but has a great Coca Cola scent - the citrus is dominant here.

I always get a great shave with the Vector - it's probably my stuck on an island razor - I used the Feather Soft Guard for the first time- really mild shave.

Phillies are back in the win column - so we're still dating........took my son to music therapy yesterday - he had a blast and is really responding - so all in all a great day despite the weather making every attempt to melt the sidwalks.

It's not my fault, I was born this way. It's all I knew growing up.

This is why - though I'm a Steelers fan- I still root for everything else Philly. Notice though- that the majority of our original states that formed this country as well as the other coast have it right. I forgot about those monsters that think everything should be called Coke 😃

Oh? Tell me more? ;)
lol - I love Pinnacle Grooming; I do see Phoenix & Beau a lot as well.....Jabonman, Eufros, WIckhams, Los Jabonnes De Jeserra, Lothur, Extro Cosmeti - and also the classics TooBs, Geo Trumper, etc... - and now I see a bunch coming out of the eastern end of Europe as well Elly's from Ukraine, Fenomeno (Russia)...... Now I'm jealous 😃

We call it "pop" in western PA. To most of New England it is soda, except for Massachusetts, where for some reason it is "tonic". I don't understand it either.
