Lift my spirits type of shave - Eddie's is a collab between Stonefield Shaving and Purely Skinful. Notes are: Tangerine, Guava, Nectarine, Carnation, Teakwood, Basil, Green Bamboo and Musk. This is nicely blended - it isn't an in your face fruity barrage - I believe the teakwood and bamboo do a great job in giving you that relaxing feel. I remember the days when I was in shape - and loved to surf. The website gives a good synopsis of Eddie Aikau who is a legend in the surfing community- when I saw this soap - I knew I wanted it.
The aftershave is much stronger - Sphinx Beard is associated with Alexandria Fragrances - which is more known for their clones - but this particular blend is an original creation. Notes are: top notes of bergamot and citrus, blended with green apple accords and juicy, sparkling pineapple; underscored by touch of earthy patchouli and nestling on a soft, sensual base of rich amber with whispers of musk. While pineapple is on the title - it isn't the only player and serves more as a catalyst to all the other scents.
I chose Mont Blanc Explorer because to me, Hawaii invokes thoughts of pineapple and pineapple invokes thoughts of Creed Aventus. I have never smelled Aventus - only Stirling Executive Man which I like very much. I can see the comparisons for MBE to CA - but MBE does not have pineapple - it uses Bergamot instead. Some say that there is a reason for the similarities - other than a straight attempt to clone. I thought this video from the YouTuber The Fragrance Apprentice gave a fun, entertaining discussion on clones along with the story(ies) behind Mont Blanc & Creed ).
Yesterday the Phils finally did not blow their 9th inning lead - so it is always good to end the week beating a NY team
My eldest son and I spent the day doing a Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM project) that culminated in building a CO2 powered water rocket along with a trip to Urban Air and finally a water balloon fight with the neighbors - so all in all - a great day!

Hey my friend - they do ship internationally - and I forgot to mention - they do sell shave soaps as well. I don't know what your thoughts are on Ariana & Evans - but A&E actually makes the soap for both Sphinx Beard and Alexandria Fragrances. If base matters - it is in their Kaizen base. Alexandria & Sphinx name their soaps different titles but they are the same fragrances.That sounds delicious, I'd drink that. Looks like a US business so it'll go on my list of unobtainables for now.

I really have to want something to order outside of the EU, due to high import cost and shipping cost. I do have plenty of stuff available to me, so it's not like I'm missing out big time. I haven't tried A&E yet. I was interested in their Strawberry Fields, but I don't know how I feel about the cannabis scent its said to have. Azzaro Pour Home Wild Mint
This is a collab between Talbot Shaving & Mail Grooming. Where the other scents all illicit thoughts of vacation resorts - these bring a remote island feel - very calming - I imagine smelling something similar in a spa. Top notes: lime, lavender, spearmint, lemongrass, lemon, & eucalyptus. Then middle notes of sweet orange, pink grapefruit, and spike lavender. Finally, patchouli and vetiver for the base. The citrus is not sweet here - and the lemongrass is very prevalent.
The cologne I used to compliment the spearmint in the AS - it is not a sweet mint - so again that calming spa like feel.
I really love the feel of the Stork handle - it feels great in the hand.
I think I am jinxing the Phil’s because I always turn them on in the middle of the ga,e. Last night they were up 4-2 and then lost 12-4. But always being pos is my mantra - the bullpen is on a pace to set the record for blown saves (8 this week and 24 overall) - so there is a good chance they’ll set the record and who doesn’t like to be #1 at something in their lives !

Thanks my friend - my new role is fairly flexible - but it comes in waves - based on our expectations of workload I think I’ll be able to do one mid July(fingers crossed)… And if the Phillies play like they did last night, then I’ll be taking a vacation for them tonight LOL
