Well just a lazy, hazy day - too hot for fall - bring on the cold weather. But the one good thing about warm days - can break out the warmer weather scents! Can’t beat Ginger Ale on a day like today.
I haven’t watched any sports today -so I just sat down and started watching Army vs Troy. One thing I don’t understand - we have HD - 4k is prevalent, super slow mo - even on our phones - and we still can’t get a still or a slow motion replay to not be blurry when Army scores an obvious touchdown? And secondly - why isn’t Army number 1? Just asking…..
On the ‘Bay yesterday and there Is this straight I was interested - a Wade & Butcher that is circa 1845 that has been restored with some sweet, sweet scales. And I’m sure me and the probably 20 people that are watching know that there was 9 days on the bidding - so everyone’s being a gentlemen - lightly bidding because why go all in on D+9?
Well……woke up this morning - and the current bid is up 10 fold
- and I don’t mean we started for example at $1 and it is now $10 - I’m talking it is at some serious money and we still have 8 days. So I was thinking of posting on @Luecke3262 ’s thread about the one that got away.
But…….then I’m thinking - darn it Scuttle - that’s a defeatist attitude.…….we here at TSC are not quitters……..This is Sparta! So here’s the new game plan…..I am still working remote - so I’m going to sell the car, go to the bank on Monday, take a small loan, and you know - Aidan and I can get by on oatmeal and spaghetti (I went to college dammit - Ramen goes a long way)…….and we really don’t need electricity - we can hang out at the public library to charge our electronics.
I mean….

I’ll keep everyone up to date and I’ll let @NurseDave know if Aidan and I need to crash on his couch for a day or 365……
