The Process-
TGITHMF! That's right friends and neighbors, we are winding down this short work week. I ended up changing everything up, except for the soap. The NEW had a blade in it, so it got the nod today. That's right, I set the bar kinda high - meh ... blade in it? Let's roll. Thought I might try the badger as well today. I had shaken more water out of the badger than I originally thought. Also went with a 30 second load time, which was a tad pasty on the brush. I dipped the brush tips in water, as needed, and the lather just exploded. I had a great sloppy lather going on, with enough for the shave and post shave lather.

Really wanted to end the week with the PermEdge, but it was not to be. I went back to a 3 pass shave of WTG, ATG and ATG and have no drama to report. That was an outstanding shave right there! That razor is effortless, efficient and really doesn't have any blade feel. I walked away BBS for the win! Finished that up with a ton of lather for the post shave, while I cleaned up the gear.

Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a quick pat dry. A glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! Ok ... I really did a double glug. Man I hit it like it owed me money. I am that guy today! So what ... it's been a rough week. I am going out dropping the mic, walking off stage and leaving the door open. Long weekend, here I come!

Home Front -
This weekend will be awesome, simply because we have no set plans. I'm sure I have stuff to do, I just don't know what it is yet. Anyway, that's the 411 as I know it. Life is good!
Bring on the 4 day weekend! Make some time for yourself buddy!

Sounds like a great shave. And that brush looks cooler the more I look at it. Enjoy your weekend, Tim!

The Process-
I woke up to the morning sun peaking through the mini-blinds. It wasn’t sunup, perish the thought. But it was ... oh ... mid morning. So let’s shave. Really had to think about my scent choice this morning, so I just randomly sniff through my choices. When @bentheduck came up, he was kind enough to bring me several soaps. One of which is Stirling’s “The Lounge”. I can’t thank him enough for his generosity. Nope, didn’t shave with it. I really want to, but I don’t have an empty tin ... yet. So I moved onto the Stirling Piacenza sample. My thought was, I will use this up and have a tin for The Lounge. Grabbed the Omega 48, loaded the soap for 30 seconds and whipped up a great lather. I really dig this scent.

I was lazy, so 30 laps on leather. I went with my standard three pass shave of WTG, ATG and ATG and have no drama to report. That was it right there, nailed it! That was an outstanding shave and I am BBS for the win! Man ... oh man! Yup, that good. I’m feeling pretty good about this Naniwa progression.

Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a quick pat dry. A smear of the ASB and everything was right as rain! That shave revealed several things. I really dig that scent and need the matching AS. And I have a better appreciation for that 48 than I previously had. So I guess I will have to buy the puck to fill this tin, buy the AS and a new tin for “The Lounge”. Ugh ... first world probs. Those purchases may have to wait just a bit though. Back ... back enablers!

Home Front -
As I alluded to earlier, that oppressive force has settled over our lands. Rumor has it that it shall pass in about 6 weeks. Some will be spared, some will not. I can’t speak further of these things. But what the crap ... it’s the weekend! Time to unwind. So today I am goofing off. Have a few errands and may check out a thrift store. Mowing will probably happen closer to dusk. No agendas, just doing. Life is good!
