Pens, inks and related.....

Nice job!

I had a Safari years ago, but the triangle grip was slightly off for me. I also have a Lamy 2k, EF and simply love it. My daily workhorse is the uber-durable Kaweco Sport (multiple nibs), and down the road, I am looking to pick up a Pelikan M200, F.

I also have a Wing Sung 601 vacumatic (Parker-51 knock-off) that sees little use and probably should find a new home.

Used the moonman M2 quite a bit today and I definitely like it. Smooth writing and just plain cool looking. I'm liking the noodlers forest green as well.

I hadn’t heard of Moonman until I saw a video review of one a few hours ago. Guess just like anything else there are the names that are common and then a ton of other that aren’t as wide spread.

Went to the SF pen show this morning. It didn’t look that big, but we were there for three hours. The tables in the main room were so close there was only space for people to be standing in front of the tables on each side and then one pass down the middle. So it got pretty crowded and tested my stress level of having to deal with people.

It was pretty cool to get to see most of the things I’ve only seen on the internet or videos. And would have been even more so for people the also like vintage pens. Confirmed some pens that I thought I would like and ruled some out. One of the biggest problems was spending quite a bit of time taking with David Oscarson who designs some pimply stunning pens which I REALLY wanted a few of. The one below is the first I would get if I could. Had to take a break and rest my mind because anything else was pale in comparison.

Sooo...I signed up for a box subscription from Truphaeinc.com, they’re doing a special where the first month’s least expensive (or Inkmeister) box is totally free (even shipping), cancel any time. Supposed to come with a cheapie JinJao pen and some ink samples!
