Pens, inks and related.....

@NurseDave I was wondering how you got out of that show without a pen, and then a Visconti!

That's a nice one, and so is that terra cotta studio, a great looking color on that pen.

Absolutely stunning. I really need to pull pens back out and get back to journaling on a regular basis.

Our youngest just became interested in learning calligraphy and bought a cheapo no name fountain pen with stub nibs at a stationary store to start practicing with. This was yesterday and she’s now asking about flex nibs and watching videos to see which to buy.

Go with a Noodlers! The flex nibs are awesome I love mine.

Soooooo......I was in a fountain pen store in Manhattan the other day, just to get some paper. Of course, I had to check out their vintage pens, just to see what they had. Well, to make a long story short....after spending a great deal of time sample writing with one of them (the sales associate was extremely nice and friendly!), I walked out with this flex:

That is some sweet line variation! And some nice writing to boot. You sure did have a good time in Manhattan!

Close out sale. I’m picking up a few stub nibs to play around with.

Looks nice! Has anyone used one of these before?
