Thanks Dave! I'm going to ink it up with some blue ink we got at the event for free. And inking up another pen with red. I'll have the most colourful notes of anyone at any meeting!

That's a nice one, and so is that terra cotta studio, a great looking color on that pen.

Our youngest just became interested in learning calligraphy and bought a cheapo no name fountain pen with stub nibs at a stationary store to start practicing with. This was yesterday and she’s now asking about flex nibs and watching videos to see which to buy.

Soooooo......I was in a fountain pen store in Manhattan the other day, just to get some paper. Of course, I had to check out their vintage pens, just to see what they had. Well, to make a long story short....after spending a great deal of time sample writing with one of them (the sales associate was extremely nice and friendly!), I walked out with this flex:
