Pens, inks and related.....

Only after many weeks and then I usually just open it up and twist the converter a little. The ones that sit over a month tend to just dry out and get cleaned and refilled.
I’ve found that the ink plays a big part in hard starts. I have 2 Organic Studio inks that always cause hard starts regardless of how long they’ve been sitting. Noodler’s on the other hand can sit forever without issue.

So my very modest pen collection which consisted of the Conklin, Pilot Metro and two Pelikan inks was bolstered the weekend by a benefactor. Not only was the company, coffee and Natas exceptional but @woodpusher generosity unrivalled! So now many more exceptionally fine inks and pens to play with! Thanks Sam! Plus the HE Washer stuff…😂

Super cool, and even better to hear he didn't push any of that Peach whiskey on you as part of the deal! The 5 O'clock shadow ink is awesome just for the label!

That is a very cool pen, never seen one of them before either.

TBH for real life work, I'd rather have a steel nib, they can just take a little more abuse than a soft gold nib and you don't feel like you have to be afraid to use then away from the desk.
