Whooeee what a nice weekend. Started a little rough with a Friday at 4pm request from my boss which kept me at the office a little longer than planned, but then we broke free. Saturday my wife volunteered at Arts & Wine Festival just downtown here as a fundraiser for the school music group. I went down early to pick her up and then grab lunch at a booth and stroll the street. Then that night we went to the Giants games. Apparently, they lost, but that's okay. The weather was perfect, the seats were great, and I had a helmet full of nachos. Sunday was some shopping as I was making lemon pesto pasta and salmon for my daughter who was coming for dinner and staying over. I think it turned out as intended, but I would have liked more of a punch of lemon. Easy enough to make though, so it might go into the experimenting bin. Then Monday up early to drive to the art show in the redwoods we go to almost every year. Tradition to get there early enough for the pancake breakfast to raise money for their small school district and fire department. Then after roaming around it was dropping off my daughter, lunch at a small down south and then back home for lounging, a movie and pizza dinner.

Well FedEx is being tested again. I have a package they listed last week as being delivered today. Well, it currently shows it's heading to a town 90min away. It's shown that since Sunday. Even I'm smart enough to know that if it's approaching noon, and it's not already on a truck for delivery, and it hasn't made it to the sort center 90min away, AND it's being delivered by a bozo company that won't deliver after 6, it's not getting here today. Yet, there is it. Listing today as the delivery still.

In about an hour I head over to the medical office building to get a cyst removed. One of those dumb things that happens for no reason, but it on my upper back and now sore when I lay on it. I'm not saying that I hope it's sore enough afterwards to warrant going home after it's not numb. But I'm also not NOT saying it. I assume it will be no big deal though. Old people stuff. I need to tell the story of the olive oil injury that I'm in week two in recovery from some day.

Package update. It's on a truck and out for delivery. I'm giving it a 90% chance at this point.

Well, yesterday didn't quite go as we had assumed. The little cyst turned into a larger one that took quite a while to remove. This prompted questions about pain afterwards and the PA doing the procedure suggested that I get home before the lidocaine wears off instead of finishing the day at work. Done and done good sir. Now I'm not supposed to bend over to tie my shoes for 3 weeks in order to not put tension on the incision. We'll see how that goes.

Hoooaa! Here we are. Friday we went and saw the Deadpool movie, that was pretty good. So were my french fry nachos and Coke Zero with rum from home. Well worth the watch, but some of the schtick I was over by the end of the movie. Then Saturday I completed another group of missions which contributed to maintaining stable world governments. And then we watched Deadpool 2 at home thinking we'd get some back story we missed. That pretty much sucked compared to the one we'd seen the night before. And on Sunday we gave Steven and his wife the pleasure of our company. Got to just chill and hang out for a good part of the afternoon. Tell Michelle thank you for letting you come out to play @heysi!
