Today I tried the Schick Proline P-30 in the Vector, and greatly preferred it to the Feather Pro Super. Plenty sharp and much smoother. I got the Artist Club Sampler pack from Tryablade, so I'm going to start methodically trying out each offering and recording my impressions here. Hopefully this little project will reinvigorate my journalling, which I've struggled with of late. I also tried out Moon Soaps Tobacco Flower, which is a thick cream that is very much like a stronger Tabac that won't last as long. My jar of Tabac is almost 7 years old and still going strong.

Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Artist Club Proline P-30
Brush: Simpson Persian Jar PJ3
Lather: Moon Soaps Tobacco Flower
Aftershave: Floid Black
Additional Care:
Osma Tradition Alum Block
Humphreys Maravilla
Roberts Borotalco Talcum Powder

The Rockwell 6S on plate 5 really hits the spot for comfort and efficiency. I'm BBS in as much comfort as I've gotten from any razor. It's a little bulky, but not in any way as to create a disadvantage. The Zingari Man Sego base is, I will now say, the best in my Den. It has a great, rich, low structure lather with peerless residual slickness. It's simply fantastic.

Razor: Rockwell 6S Plate 5
Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Green Super Stainless
Brush: Simpson Berkeley 46 B
Lather: Zingari Man The Socialite
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Reserve Sweet Rum

I'm unsure of what you're describing.

I guess what I mean by a low structure lather is a lather that doesn't build up a fluffy thick lather like the one on the Cella guy. It's slick and creamy, but not pillowy. Sego and Kaizen are two bases that, for me, produce a low structure lather. Martin de Candre and MWF give what I'd call a high structure lather. Just as slick, but more fluffy than Sego and Kaizen. For me.

Tonight I tried out Victory Shaving Jolly Rogers, which has a nice, leathery scent, and good performance. My second use of the Schick Proline P-30 proved even more comfortable than the first, both being better than the Feather Super in terms of comfort and smoothness. Next up, the Kai Captain.

Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Artist Club Proline P-30
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar
Lather: Victory Shaving Jolly Rogers
Aftershave: Lucky Tiger Aspen
Additional Care:

Oh, I get it. Thanks. (y)

I finally tried out the Gillette Wilkinson Sword Indian blade today in the Yates razor. I really like the razor, and the blade is smooth and sharp. I got an irritation free BBS with no real need for touch ups. PAA Diver Down is a wonderful soap scent. I've got such a backlog of soaps to try after my stimulus check buying spree. I've officially run out of room.

Razor: Yates Precision Manufacturing Model 921- M Medium plate
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword (Indian)
Brush: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Amber Areolite
Lather: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Diver Down
Aftershave: Indian Old Spice

I'm right there with you, Frank. My backlog of soaps needs serious work to pare down to size.
I'm thinking about trying to pare things down a bit, but I load off the puck, so I don't know if anyone would be interested in buying a used soap. I've only PIFed used soaps in the past. I've never sold a soap, just a couple of razors.

Good news this morning! I got a job offer. I'll be working from home, which is good since my diabetes makes me high risk Covid- wise. The morning shave was excellent. The Schick Proline in the Vector is great, and I tried out Pannacrema Nuavia Rossa, which feels so nice on my face! I'm really taken be the Pannacrema soaps. I'll be using Nera tomorrow.

Brush: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Atomic Rocket

Congrats Frank! I hope it’s a good move for ya!
Thanks guys! It's really a job to cover expenses while I wait for the vaccine and study for a couple of IT certifications, which will enable me to get a better job once people are returning to offices. But this is a job where I'll be able to stay at home and sit down, so I'm not complaining. Yet lol!

Lots of new stuff tonight. Plate 6 on the 6S was still very comfortable, but is a more efficient shaver than the 5 plate. Pannacrema Nuavia Nera is a nice scent and another super nice soap. Having now tried all four, I think I like the Verde the best, scent wise. Performance of the four was indistinguishable. The Wizamet SI did a wonderful job. I have 250 floating somewhere in the Nashville post office since Jan 30. And I tried out the Omega Evo, which is a nice brush, but the Simpson Trafalgar is just as good for less than half the money, and frankly, I think I like the PAA Star Craft and Atomic Rocket and Amber Areolite better than both the Simpson and the Omega. They're softer on the face.

Razor: Rockwell 6S Plate 6
Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium
Brush: Omega Evo
Pre-Shave: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Cube (Mentholated)
Lather: Pannacrema Nuavia Nera
Aftershave: Floid Mentholado Vigoroso
Additional Care:
Osma Tradition Alum Block
